A running account of the "race without an entry fee"..... The Tuesday night ride

Tuesday the 4th

The rain brings wrecks another week of SG fun

Unless you are the Snoopster... Then its you kicking everyone off the ride because you have deemed them too weak to ride in such conditions. Ratatatat and Jacinto got an invite and so it was just the 3 of them riding tonight.

Let's all hope that next week bring redemption.

Is it me?
Or has the ride gone to shit? Could it be the young fit riders with no cycling acumen, the triathletes, the nuvo/fit guys like Hunter who accelerate/decelerate with no rhyme or reason? Am I just getting old? Seems there used to be an understanding that we would ride hard then get back in the rotation but now that is impossible with the lame opportunist/one surge wonders etc etc. RIP tuesday ride, but I wont miss a single one this winter or next year!

We won't miss you either.

And while we are talking about Hunter, He needs a shout out since he was the one that suggested doing the long loop with the extra hours. Good call!

One more week? 5:15?

5:30 next week. One last opportunity for a ride so long as the sun is out.

5:30 it is! If the forecast holds true it should still be warm and sunny.

not sure if the giant Sunday ride is in full effect yet, but i for one will be taking advantage of the expected 80 (!) degree weather and doing the Yale Century.
