Jacob here: I gather there may have been a crash after Alan and I went away. I hope everyone is OK, and I'm sorry about the confusion up front. I have personally benefited from the regroup-after-falls policy (several times, alas!), and I think it's an important tradition to uphold. Sorry again, and I hope no one was seriously hurt.

it was me, i hit a crack in the pavement and went over the bars,broke my collarbone unfortunately. very frustrating as i am just better from breaking the otherside.
But I had plenty of help from the group and am grateful for steve and mike who gave up their ride to stay with me and especially dr john who drove me for xrays and provided medical advice.
So ride safe and see you in a few months...

Very sorry about the fall, Rick. Big kudos to Steve, Mike, and Dr. John! As I said, we should always be stopping when someone has fallen until we figure out what needs to be done. Hope you heal quickly, Rick. What a bummer!

Sorry to hear about the accident, especially since you recently recovered from a pretty bad crash at the beginning of the year.

So sorry to hear about your crash Rick! Can't believe it man. That stretch of road is super dangerous with those cracks. I got caught in one on a ride and kept it up just barely but flatted.
