Recap coming soon ( hopefully )
Its been a busy work and training week. Sit tight everyone and till then, vote the poll, feel free to post a comment about the ride, guys on the ride, girls seen whilst on the ride, bikes on the ride, bad manners from the ride, etc etc etc
here's a brief version:
Eric M, Guido, Tim Ratta, Joshy G all went fast with some help from others, Little T followed up his 5th place at Keith Berger with sprints at the turnaround and Stop n Shop. Matt Sack needs new cleats. No one got off the front for any significant amount of time ( besides Crowle and Tall John cheating at the very beginning.... )
A running account of the "race without an entry fee"..... The Tuesday night ride

Ummm, super brief you mean.
Bring back the real re-cap
Crowell,
You don't crush it uphill in a break!!
'....besides Crowle and Tall John cheating at the very beginning.... '
.
Cheating?
fuckin' cheats
Crowell is sexy
I guess we cheated if you mean that we went out of the parking lot harder than the group. Big Deal! Ben I can't help it if you can't keep up. look at it this way, at least you didn't get dropped this week.
Chris C.
I kept up just fine. It's just not how a break works. Even Johnny was yelling at you. Think about it mathematically and get back to me.
what are guys even talking about? When were you all in a break?
Ben is a douche.
So I'm one of the "cheaters"....
Once on route 10, Crowell and I set a blistering pace of 23mph (with a 10 mph tailwind). Sorry if this initial pace was too much for the non-cheaters.
Crowell's swelve new figure did ensure his climbing ability, but upping the pace on the risers clearly did not help in keeping us together. Our inability to climb at this pace (or Crowell's ability to climb at this pace) was the break's downfall.
Tall John
Why does John overanalyze everything?
Engineers typically do that !!

Watch or talk to the pros. They go single file uphill at threshold. There is a difference between 300 and 400 watts uphill, but it is minimal. The toll on your body is substantial. On the other hand, the difference between 300 and 400 watts on flats is a huge difference and does not take such a toll on your body. You avoid the deficit on flats because you're pulling for 20-30 secs. Hills are usually far longer. And Crowell was sprinting up the damned hills. Plus you wanna keep the break together until the last possible moment. btw, I'm in a break in almost every race I do.
Crowell, you are climbing well this year. Thanks for the words at hh.
Le Douche.
little t got 4th, not 5th.
Where are the Yale guys?
