If i could use this forum to just say thank you to all that came out for the Cross race. All the Stage 1 guys... It was awesome. I have already gotten a couple of emails about "the hill" and how fun a scene it was. You guys know how to make a good time out of it...Thanks again!

Saturday was a blast. i forgot how much cross can hurt. no wounder i only do it once a year. one of the guys got some great pics of the race. (velo news quality) i will foward them to you hunter. great course run by a great bunch of guys. cheshire cycle crew needs to pat themselves on the back for a job well done. hopefully next year you do not have a schedule conflict with a uci race in nj. i am sure it wont be long before word gets out and you start attracting some big name pro's. thanks again, already looking forward to next year.

Cross is AWESOME. Anyone who hasn't ever done it should try to as soon as possible. I'd like to think that the Cheshire course is not too tough and that it forces the not so technical guys to suffer a bit. I know from experience, as Nathanial Ward was eeking out a little bit on me with every corner b4 i flatted. He was on rails thru the slickness!
If anyone has any suggestions, lets hear em. I am open to comments ( and I heard more than few on Saturday, everybody's a critic it seems.....)
thanks for getting me the photos Chris, I have already sent one of "Bad Santa" to the Velonews readers contest. Hopefully we will see it soon.

Thats why they call him bad Santa! His real name is Bad Chris Kringle! Everybody knows that.
Hunter thanks for the beer,as you already know we put it to good use. Not alot of riders but its croos so they just kept going around and around and around so all in all I counted 1,402 riders, perfect! Great job, we had a blast! Maybe next year "BAD BUNNY" will show up. OH NO!
Right on Todd - that made me laugh; 1400+ riders...

i figure if everyone submits the one per week that you are allowed, CheshireCross will be bigger than the Mount Washington Hillclimb by next fall.
Althought if you do, dont make the same mistake i did and forget to mention that the shot was taken from CheshireCross.
Glad to see that ONE picture in the Cheshire Herald.
Yea - good point. one lousy little blurb and photo. stupid paper.
on a more positive note, it's only 14 weeks one day till the first Tuesday night throwdown of 2008
You should promote this blog as the countdown until Tuesday Night Rides come again!
